• If a participant is unable to access or complete the quiz due to a verified technical issue on our platform (server error, platform downtime, or malfunction).
• The participant must report the issue within 24 hours of the quiz attempt and provide supporting evidence such as screenshots, error messages, and payment details.
• After investigation and confirmation, the refund will be initiated.

2.2 Duplicate Payment

• If a participant is mistakenly charged more than once for the same quiz due to a payment gateway error, a refund of the excess payment will be made upon verification of transaction details.

3. Non-Eligibility for Refund

Refunds will not be provided under the following circumstances:

• Disqualification of the participant due to misconduct, cheating, malpractice, or violation of quiz rules.
• Issues caused by the participant’s own device, internet connection, browser incompatibility, or other technical difficulties not attributable to Counsels Cottage.
• Any request for refund submitted after the quiz has been completed, unless due to a confirmed technical glitch on our platform.
• Change of mind after participating in the quiz.

4. Refund Process

4.1 Submission of Request

  • Registered Email ID
  • Quiz Name and Date
  • Payment Transaction ID and Proof of Payment
  • Reason for Refund Request (with supporting evidence, if applicable)

4.2 Verification and Approval

• All refund requests will be reviewed by our support team.
• We may contact the participant for additional information or clarification.
• Once the request is approved, the refund will be initiated.

4.3 Mode of Refund

• Refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment used during registration.
• In case this is not possible due to banking/payment gateway restrictions, an alternative method will be used after discussion with the participant.

4.4 Timeline for Refunds

• Approved refunds will be credited within 7–10 working days from the date of approval.
• The time taken to reflect the amount in the participant’s account may vary depending on the bank/payment gateway.
