About

Counsels’ Cottage aims to empower the youth with the legal knowledge and reasoning. We try our best to bridge the gap between student and scarcity of resources. With an aim to enrich the nationwide students with legal acumen, Counsels cottage brings out an Olympiad on PAN India basis for the school & college students including graduates and aspirants of different exams below up to 30 years of age.

Who Can Apply?

The quiz shall be conducted for Five different groups varying upon the participant’s current educational background.

Group A

Students of Classes 6th, 7th & 8th

Group B

Students of Classes 9th & 10th

Group C

Students of Classes 11th ,12th and Droppers (Any Stream)

Group D1

UG/PG Law Students/Law Graduates or Exam Aspirants (Below 30 age)

Group D2

Any UG/PG Student or Graduate or Any Exam Aspirants (Below 30 age)

Syllabus

The quiz shall be conducted for Four different groups varying upon the participant’s current educational background.

Competition Format

Preliminary round

Final round

Preliminary round details:

Questions – 25 Time – 45 minutes Mode: Online

Negative Marking: One Fourth for every wrong answer

Note:

There will be a timer in all the Questions;
Quiz can be played only once.
All activities at the time of the Online exam will be monitored via software.
Any kind of misconduct or suspicious activities at the time of exam will lead to direct disqualification.

All the guidelines regarding the exam shall be communicated via mail to the students before appearing the exam.

Final round details:

The Finale of the All-India Legal Olympiad will be conducted in an interactive one-to-one online format, where each finalist will compete individually.
All the Finalists shall be awarded a minimum prize of Rs. 1000 as a reward of amount double the registration fees.

Round Structure

Each finalist will face 12 thought-provoking questions in an online session.

For Every Right answer, the candidate shall be eligible for a proportionate cash prize. The Final amount shall be credited within 3 working days.
This structure ensures both fairness and excitement throughout the competition.

Lifelines:

To assist participants during the finale, two lifelines will be available:

Answer Twice: Two incorrect options are removed, leaving two possible answers.
Change the Question: The participant may replace the current question with a new one.

These lifelines add a strategic edge to the competition, testing both knowledge and judgment.
